The Best Way to Learn Guitar
In the Yamaha classroom, you'll learn the skills needed to play, and get a solid grounding in music fundamentals: note and chord reading, ear training, soloing and ensemble playing. And because of a lot of styles of music are included in the course, you'll be able to continue in any direction of guitar music you wish, from rock to classical to alternative.
Creating Music Together
With our ensemble approach to teaching, you'll be playing with other people form the first lesson. This means that you will have the skills necessary to enjoy playing with other people long after the course is finished.
Play the Music You Want to Play
Yamaha's certified instructors will show you the right way to play, and give you the chance to play the music you want to play. In addition to the course material, there is time allotted in the class to 'take requests' from students. The group lesson format gives you a chance to experience the different roles of a group: rhythm, lead, bass.
A Variety of Styles
The guitar is equally at home on a concert stage, in a rowdy country bar, in a smoky jazz lounge, or with some friends on a back porch. Whatever your musical goals are, the Yamaha Guitar Course will help you to reach them. And because we give you a solid grounding in all techniques, including pick style, finger style, note and tablature reading, rhythm and lead playing, you'll be able to continue in any direction you choose. Who knows where the guitar will take you?
Learning guitar has never been so much fun!!!!!
