Junior Music Course (JMC)

(Designed for 4-5 year old students)
JMC is a unique four year program of weekly group lessons designed to give your child the best beginning possible for the development of basic music skills.

The first two years, the primary course, is for 4 and 5 years olds. Emphasis is placed on ear training and developing a good rhythmic sense. It is a keyboard based program, which includes activities singing, reading, playing, learning  rhythm patterns, and music appreciation.

Graduated of the Primary Course advance to the second half of the program, Junior Extension where the skills are refined with emphasis on keyboard performance, sight singing, sight playing, ensemble work and musical activity.

Group lessons put children an ease. Being among friends makes learning fun, provides motivation and builds confidence that will last a lifetime. Classes are taught in groups of about six to ten students of similar age and abilities. Group learning is a peer pleasure.
