Introducing: Ms Caroline Freeze-Zubel -
Piano, Yamaha
Caroline Freeze is a member of Alberta Registered
Music Teachers Association and a graduate from the University of Calgary with a
Bachelor of Music degree (1999) and a graduate from the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto (2001), where
she attained her Master’s diploma in Performance and Pedagogy.
Throughout the summers, Caroline has attended
music festivals, including master classes, in Poland, the Banff Centre for
Performing Arts and The Oberlin School of Music Casalmaggiore program. Her
activities involved solo performances and chamber music work, where she had the
opportunity to study with international faculty. She has also studied
privately in London, England prior to her teaching position at Irene Besse
Keyboards, where she taught for five years. Her interests have also expanded to
finance; she worked at the Bank of Montreal for two years.
Caroline loves doing local performances for the
community and believes in sharing her passion of music with people of all ages.
She has taught from beginner to grade 10 RCM and continues to look for
opportunities to share and help others achieve their personal best in learning
and in life.
